As the Maryland men's basketball team looks for ways to produce more points, one future Terp is on a scoring tear.
The Washington Post caught up recently with Bishop O'Connell guard Melo Trimble, who scored 33 and 31 points in back-to-back games last week.
“I’ve been looking at Maryland, and I see what they’re lacking on: a lot of scoring,” said Trimble, who has increased his average to a team-best 19.5 points per game. “I want to keep improving on it. That way when I get to the next level it’s there already.”
