Anne Arundel County police are investigating the stabbing Tuesday evening of a 29-year-old man in Glen Burnie.
Officers responded at 9:02 p.m. to an apartment in the 100 block of Faywood Court, where they found the victim. He told police that he had gone to the 7400 block of Furnace Branch Road, near Route 10, where he had arranged to meet with several men.
Three unidentified men stabbed the victim multiple times in the upper body and robbed him of a cell phone and an undetermined amount of money. The victim was able to return to his residence and contact police.
The victim was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, with serious but not life-threatening injuries, police said. Officers canvassed the area Tuesday night, but were unable to locate the suspects. Police said they believe the victim was targeted and they are not treating the incident as a random act.
