Perry Ellis went for 32 points tonight and now sits just 37 points behind the all-time City League record as his Falcons cruised to an 82-52 win over Southeast. This win also extended Heights’ winning streak to 57 games overall.

Wichita North got 29 points from Conner Frankamp to win 56-52 over West. East’s Larry Dennis and Kimron Burris each scored 15 points for the Blue Aces in their 57-41 win over Bishop Carroll. Jordan Bieberle had 15 points for Carroll in the loss.

Northwest used a big second half to take down South 58-46. The Grizzlies trailed 33-23 heading into the break, but erased that deficit holding South to just 13 second-half points. Craig Nicholson dropped in 23 points to lead the Grizzlies. Teammate Spenser Gales did his part with 17 points.

Zach Bush poured in 27 points as the Eisenhower Tigers rolled Valley Center 59-41. Andover nipped Maize 44-43.

Josiah Ray went off for Derby with 16 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks, but it was not enough as his Panthers fell 85-78. The trio of Kyler Kinnamon, Chase Miller and Cody Cape were the big reason for McPherson’s win as they combined for 64 points. Kinnamon led the way with 22 points. Miller and Cape both tacked on 21 points each. Derby’s Kyler Steadman led all scorers with 23 points.

Hutchinson jumped out to an 18-4 lead after one quarter to cruise by Arkansas City 48-36. Salina Central had four players in double figures as the Mustangs dropped Goddard 65-44. Andover Central won 51-16 over Campus.

The trio of Daniel Kihle, Hunter Knoblauch and Gerad Deaver each cracked double figures to lead Andale past Winfield 50-46. Johnny Becker dropped a game-high 18 points to pace Clearwater past Rose Hill 47-40. Collegiate thumped El Dorado 66-39 thanks to 19 points from Trace Clark.

Maize South took down Augusta 58-53. Circle jumped out to a 16-11 lead over Mulvane in the first quarter and then held on from there to win 47-46. Stewart Dennison led all scorers with 16 points for the Thunderbirds.

Salina South had no trouble with Hays 53-42. Great Bend beat Hoisington 66-59. Dodge City won a Western Athletic Conference battle over Liberal 55-43.

Out in the Central Plains League, Conway Springs got 18 points from Matt Seiwert to win 48-39 over Medicine Lodge. Cheney shellacked Bluestem 74-45. Chaparral won with similar ease over Belle Plaine 59-42.

Ryan Miller scored 14 points and Wilson Alexander chipped in 10 of his own to get Wichita Trinity past Garden Plain 42-36. Independent nipped Douglass 68-66.

Quintin Crandall scored 27 points to lead his Nickerson Panthers to a 59-50 win over Halstead. Hillsboro had three players in double figures in a 47-40 win over Hesston. Shaq Thiessen had 16 points for the Trojans. Eyan Roth matched Thiessen from the other side with 16 points of his own in the loss.

Sterling continues to roll after a 62-57 win over Kingman. Austin Maxwell of Sterling and Mikabe Erdman of Kingman went head-to-head on the score sheet. Erdman scored 27 points, but Maxwell bettered him by one with 28 points.

Smoky Valley won by 10 points over Haven 56-46. Payson Maydew scored 17 points as his Pratt Greenbacks thumped Lyons 53-23.

The Remington duo of Caleb Tanner and Caleb Cherryholmes scored a combined 43 points in the Broncos 54-43 overtime victory over Hutchinson Trinity. Alec Mailloux had 17 points for Trinity in the loss.

Sedgwick and Marion both rolled to wins. The Cardinals took down Bennington 59-44, while Marion won over Canton-Galva 59-42.

Scoring machine Trey Unrau was held to just 13 points in Moundridge’s 38-32 loss to Berean Academy. Ell-Saline used a big third quarter to get by Inman 50-46.

Kiowa County got matching 15-point outputs from Caleb Davis and Damien Odle in a 62-31 win over Spearville. Jay Luerman poured in 25 points for Ashland as his team charged back late to beat South Gray 54-49.

Kalen Cromwell had 27 points for Republic County in a 56-40 victory over Beloit.
