6 oz “Black Ledge” blue cheese
3 oz slab bacon, lardons/strips
2 each eggs, hard-cooked, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 ½ tsp lemon juice, fresh
T/T freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp chives, nibbed
1. In a mixing bowl add the first 5 ingredients.
2. Mix well, using a little milk or half and half to thin to desired consistency.
3. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
4. Top with chopped chives.
5. Serve as a spread on walnut bread, as a dip for fresh vegetables, or as an delicious salad dressing with cinnamon spiced walnuts.
