The Rev. Luke Dowdy will present the message in the Berlin Brethren Church on New Years Sunday. Services begin at 8 a.m. with informal praise and worship followed by a time of fellowship.
Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. and traditional worship service at 10:30 a.m. The New Jersey Mission Team leaves immediately following the worship services for their week long journey to help with Hurricane Sandy Relief.
On Monday evening the church hosts a New Year's Eve Hospitality Meal beginning at 5:30 p.m. of sauerkraut and pork. The meal is free. Information for the church newsletter is due in the church office by Jan. 7.

Geiger Church
The Geiger Church meets at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday for Bible study. There are classes for all ages. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. The Advent candles will be lighted. The Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh will bring the morning message. Kerran Shaulis will tell the children's story.
Camp Harmony will host the annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner beginning with appetizers at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Wednesday there will be quilting all day. The search committee will meet at 6 p.m. The choir will practice at 7:15 p.m.
Geiger Church is 2 1/2 miles north of Somerset, just off of Route 281, in the village of Geiger.
