    <span style="font-size: small;">Trace Adkins will take on NBC&rsquo;s Celebrity Apprentice again when the new &ldquo;All-Star&rdquo; season kicks off.&nbsp; In 2008, Trace was runner-up to Apprentice champ Piers Morgan. Now, the country star is back for more and he says it&rsquo;s all thanks to his wife.&ldquo;I wasn&rsquo;t going to, but then somebody brought it to my attention I believe it was my wife [laughs]. You know, you really should go and play on behalf of the American Red Cross this time because of what they did for us and you know women always have a way of guilting you into doing things that you don&rsquo;t want to do so she did, she succeeded again.&rdquo; Trace is a celebrity spokesperson for the American Red Cross, an organization that stepped in to assist his family when they lost their home to a fire in 2011.   23. Kathryn (Kitty) P. Brown, 83, Frostburg, Md.

    Kathryn (Kitty) P. Brown, 83, passed away at Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. Born April 2, 1929, in Uniontown, she was the daughter of the late Eugene W. and Maude (Sutton) Pugh. She was married in 1955 to Korean War Veteran Donald J. Brown who preceded her in 1980. Kitty graduated from Berlin Brothersvalley High School in 1947 and Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.&nbsp; She practiced her profession at Meyersdale Community Hospital, Coatesville Hospital and Somerset State Hospital, as well as in several homes as a private duty nurse. She was a very generous and patriotic lady and instilled this generosity and patriotism upon her family. The motto she lived by was &ldquo;God, Country and Fellow Man.&rdquo; She took much pride in the programs that honored Veterans on Memorial and Veterans Day at Frostburg Heights Apartments, where she lived from February 2000, until September 2011. Kitty was a member of Wills Grange 1690, Berlin Area Historical Society, Farrady Post 24 American Legion Auxiliary, and Mountain Chapter 15 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also Past Noble Grand of Lady Gallatin Rebekah Lodge, Berlin. Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca A. Brown-McCusker and husband Dr. Paul McCusker, Mt. Savage; brother, James L. Pugh and wife June, Lynchburg, Tenn.; numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins. Friends and Family will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A. 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg on Tuesday, Feb.&nbsp; 26, 2013, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Farrady Unit Post 24 American Legion Auxiliary will hold a service at 7:30 p.m. and a 8 p.m. service for Mt. Chapter 15 Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Frostburg, on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Ed Hendricks as celebrant with Rev. Gary Cannon giving the eulogy. A gathering of Kitty&rsquo;s friends will be held immediately following the Mass at the St. Michaels Hall for a luncheon. Interment will be held at the Berlin, PA, IOOF Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassionate and loving care given to Kitty while she was a resident. Condolences may be sent to the family at&nbsp; www.durstfuneralhome.com.
