    The primary weather feature today and for the weekend is a vertically stacked low pinballing around the Gulf of Alaska within an upper trough.  It is not very strong to begin with and will only weaken as we go through the weekend.  Therefore, while showers are likely in SE and parts of Southcentral in the coming days, heavy rain or snow is not a threat and winds will remain fairly tame.
