Behnke Doherty Gallery, 6 Green Hill Road in Washington Depot, presents its annual holiday exhibit until Sunday, Dec. 30.
A holiday reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The exhibit will feature 19th- and 20th-century paintings and sculpture — artists including Nelson Agustus Moore, Chauncey Ryder, Minerva Chapman and David Walkley. Contemporary painters will include works by Charles Cajori, Tom Ferrara, Joseph Reboli, Peter Poskas III (this is his oil on panel “VW Bug”), Jacob Collins, Carol Anthony, and Linden Frederick — and works by the gallery’s own artists, including Tom Yost, John Thomson, Matt Wood, Liz Dexheimer, Souby Boski, Ann Mallory and Cornelia Thomsen. Among the sculpture on view will be works by Beverly Seamans, Brian Walters, Anthony Antonios, Dan Murray and Joe Gitterman.
Gallery hours are Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
