Zion Baptist Church’s Health and Fitness Ministry is sponsoring Move of God, Building God’s Kingdom with low-impact aerobics Saturday in the church’s parking lot starting at 8:30 a.m. The church is at 61 Bethel St. in Hagerstown.
The low-impact aerobics/dance exercise class helps improve health and wellness.
Linda Brooks will lead the exercise.
The animated western comedy movie “Rango” will be shown Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.
Remember, the movie, popcorn and drinks are all free.
Japanese culture class
Friends of Washington County Free Library will offer a free Japanese culture class for students entering grades 3 to 6.
It will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church (rear entrance on the corner of Walnut and West Antietam streets) from July 25-29 from 1 to 3 p.m.

“Visual Virtuosos of the Women’s Wisdom” exhibition will be Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Just Lookin’ Gallery, 40 Summit Ave. in Hagerstown.
Works by Kenyan painter/sculptor Grace Kisa and Jamaican painter Sharon Fox-Mould will be on display.
Kisa’s work hangs in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, one of the many public collections where her work can be found. Fox-Mould is immediate past president of the Jamaica Guild of Artists. Her work is in many notable collections in the United States, England and Jamaica, including the permanent collection of the Bank of Jamaica.
SIS Book Club
The director of the Sisters-in-the-Spirit Book Club would like to thank the members who came to Sunday’s book discussion and extends a special thanks to Fannie Crawford.
The August meeting is scheduled for Aug. 21, and the book is titled “The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates,” by Wes Moore.
Zion’s SALT (Single Adults Learning the Word of God Together) Ministry will present “A Touch of Class” Saturday, Sept. 10, from 6 to 11 p.m. at Hager Hall Conference & Event Center on Dual Highway in Hagerstown.
Tickets cost $35, which includes dinner and entertainment. The event is for those 18 and older.

West End Churches will hold a back-to-school block party Saturday, Aug. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot behind Washington Square United Methodist Church, 538 Washington Ave.
The West-End Churches and organizations involved are The Salvation Army, Hagerstown, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Grace United Methodist Church, St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, Washington Square United Methodist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church and Memorial Recreation Center.
