Bertha L. Lehman, 102, of Chambersburg, Pa., died Tuesday evening, Feb. 5, 2013, at Menno Haven, where she had lived since October.
Born Dec. 30, 1910, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie Landis Caufman.
A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Lehman had been a member of Chambersburg Brethren In Christ Church for 55 years. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and gardening.
Her husband, Aaron Arthur Lehman, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet E. Haarer and husband, John, of Hagerstown, Md., Doris J. McBeth and husband, Ethan, of Manheim, Pa., and Betty A. Breon and fiancé, Vincent Blaye, of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James A. Lehman; a daughter, Miriam B. Lehman; and two brothers, Martin Caufman and Kenneth Caufman.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Chambersburg Brethren In Christ Church, with the Rev. Kevin Witter officiating. Interment will follow at Chambersburg Mennonite Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
