Quilts in the making
News from the Sewing Basket, at 64 W. Main St. in Hancock, is that it has purchased a new Gammill Statler stitcher — a computerized quilting machine.
The machine will quilt a variety of designs using a long-arm, which makes it ideal for those larger quilts.
The community is invited to a demonstration Friday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. or Saturday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m.
