Joseph David Edwards, 79, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va. The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Donald Dick officiating. A military graveside service will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
