SCOTLAND, Pa. —The men who robbed the First National Bank of Mercersburg on Black Gap Road (Pa. 997) Tuesday are still at large, Pennsylvania State Police said Wednesday.
The men entered the bank at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, brandished a handgun and demanded all the cash from the bank tellers, police said in a news release.
Police said they are reviewing bank surveillance video of the robbery.
One of the men was described as a thinly built white man wearing brown pants, a black long-sleeve shirt, dark sunglasses, a black fedora hat and white shoes, police said. He was carrying a dark-colored bag.
The two other robbers were described as a heavy-set black man wearing tan pants, a blue long-sleeve shirt with a dark bandana covering his face, and a white man of medium build in jeans and a gray, hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a baseball cap and white shoes.
All three were last seen running through the bank parking lot and across Black Gap Road, police said.
