Diane Sergent Padgett, 49, of Stanford, died Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Born July 27, 1963 in Irvin, Diane was a daughter of Maudie Sergent Richie of Stanford and the late Pinas Sergent. She was a homemaker, member of Freedom Baptist Church and attended Grace Fellowship Church.
Other survivors include her husband, Darryle Padgett of Stanford; a son, Joshua (Shawna) Berry of Stanford; a daughter, Jenna (Dwayne) Peyton of Waynesburg; three sisters, Deborah Sue (Danny) Harmon of Stanford, Patricia (Stewart) Dawson of Lexington and Becky Brogle of Stanford; two grandsons, Aaron Scott Berry and Parker Roy Berry; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Nov. 18 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Vola Brown officiating. Burial was in Sergent Cemetery.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to American Cancer Association.
