He isn`t wearing his standard black turtleneck and blue jeans, rather what looks like a black knee-length gown with a black sweater over it.
TMZ posted this photo of him appearing gaunt and frail just days after jobs stepped down as Apple`s CEO.
Doubt was quickly cast on whether the photos were real.
A skeptic over at the website Reddit posted an annotated image as proof that the pictures were manipulated to make Jobs look worse off than he might appear in real life.
The agency credited with giving the photos to TMZ says they have not been doctored in any way.
