San Bernardino, Calif. (KTLA) A 12-year-old San Bernardino girl who turned up missing has been reunited with her parents.
Lauryn "Sabrina" Sandell, who is an insulin dependent diabetic, left her home on Mitad Court around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to visit a friend.
She never made it home and was reported missing a short time later.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department issued a desperate plea to the public for help finding the girl on Wednesday morning.
A few hours later, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Lauryn was found safe near her friend's home at the corner of Argyle and Sunrise in the city of San Bernardino.
