SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Bass Pro Conservation Marathon is Sunday, Nov. 4. KY3's Paul Adler will run the marathon with a GoPro camera to give you a good idea what it's like to run a marathon.
Until then, he's out training on the course. On this run, he tackles the final five miles of the marathon. It's mostly flat with a couple of inclines. You'll notice the climb on Weaver Road at about 24.5 miles into the 26-mile race. It's not a hill or a mountain but it is a climb.
Here's what the organizers have to say about the course, "We live in the Ozarks and that means we have hills! However, all of the courses have gently rolling hills. Our new courses have fewer hills and provide runners with more opportunities for a PR (personal record)."
