The Lakers are among the top three-point shooting teams in the league. Heading into Saturday's games, the Lakers are sixth overall at 37.2%.
Second-year guard Darius Morris leads the team while shooting 45% from three over 40 attempts. Of the 15 players on the Lakers roster, Morris almost always seems to be the last to leave the practice court, putting up extra shots with the squad's assistant coaches.
The Lakers have three players shooting 40% or better from behind the arc including Chris Duhon (41.7%), Steve Blake (40%) and Morris. Blake made just seven appearances before sitting down with an abdominal injury.
Jodie Meeks has been a factor from the outside, converting 39.3% of his attempts. Kobe Bryant has converted 56 on 147 attempts (38.1%).
Metta World Peace shoots a respectable 37%, taking threes in volume (154 attempts).
Technically, Dwight Howard still has the best three-point shooting percentage on the team, hitting one of two attempts (50%).
The Lakers have a lot to work on this season including defense, turnovers and free throw shooting. One of the group's strengths as a team is three-point shooting.
Presumably the return of Steve Nash should lift that percentage given his career-mark of 42.8% from range.ALSO:
