Tallahassee native and professional motorcycle racer Ricky Carmichael will be the guest picker on ESPN's "College GameDay" show taped live from outside Florida State's Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday morning.
Carmichael's wife, Ursula Carmichael tweeted the news earlier this afternoon that her husband was selected for the honor:

Ricky Carmichael is a three-time X-Games gold medalist and currently serves as a NASCAR Camping World Truck and Nationwide series driver. To his biggest fans, Ricky Carmichael is simply known as the "GOAT" (Greatest Of All Time). The nickname stems from his success on the motocross tour.
Since 1997, he has taken home his share of motocross awards.
The "GameDay" guest picker is a coveted job that typically goes to a celebrity with ties to the area the pregame is filming from during a respective week. Earlier this year, Jeff Van Gundy, a former Houston Rockets coach was the guest picker when "GameDay" visited Texas A&M for its home game against Florida.
Last year, when "GameDay" came to FSU, there was no guest picker at the end of the show. Instead, the crew went straight to FSU alum Lee Corso's traditional show-ending pick. At the close of each episode, Corso puts on headgear representing the team that he is picking to win the game held at the site where "GameDay" is filming from.
When he had a choice of picking FSU or No. 1 Oklahoma last September, Corso chose the Sooners.
Will he wear the Seminole headdress at noon Saturday following Carmichael's picks? Tune into ESPN to find out.
The show begins at 9 a.m. on ESPNU before switching to ESPN at 10 a.m. Fans arriving to Langford Green just outside of Doak Campbell Stadium are asked to park in the adjacent parking garage, Seminole Booster Lot 9, beginning at 8 a.m.
