Susan Egan performs with Brevard Symphony Orchestra

Broadway singer-actress Susan Egan will be the guest of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra this Saturday, Feb. 2, for a concert "The Envelope Please."

Egan will perform music from "Beauty and the Beast," "Les Miserables," "Cabaret," "Wicked" and more.

Egan's Broadway career includes starring in "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "Cabaret," as well as "Triumph of Love" and "State Fair." She received Tony Award and Drama Desk nominations for best actress as the original Belle in Disney's stage version of "Beauty and the Beast."

She has another Disney connection: Egan voiced the character of sassy Meg in Disney's animated feature "Hercules."

"The Envelope Please" will be presented twice, at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the King Center for the Performing Arts, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne.
