How one man left the world a better place

My uncle, the inventor Stanford R. Ovshinsky, died a month short of his 90th birthday which fell over this Thanksgiving holiday. He was my dad's older brother. They worked together their entire lives not so much for the money but to try and solve the problems of the world. Of course, this year we still give thanks for the lives they gave us and the legacy of their work and character, even without Stan's presence.
