    Florida lawmakers approved a record-setting $74.5 billion budget that includes $9.65 billion in local projects -- almost $2 billion more than the $7.96 billion in that category in last year's budget. The budget is now awaiting action from Gov. Rick Scott. He has the power, through a line-item veto, to sign the budget but eliminate funding for individual projects.
