  5. DA: Teens Paid College Student Thousands To Take SATs

    It's a scam that sounds more like a Hollywood movie plot than a real life crime scheme, but it is very real:  a half dozen students with low grades got sky-high scores on their SATs -- for a price.  Many of those students are now in prestigious colleges, but they spent Tuesday in handcuffs, and so did their ghost test-taker.  He could ultimately fail the test to stay out of prison for his crimes, and the prosecutor who has brought him to justice says that his case should set a precedent for national reform in how the test is administered.
