    <strong>Paul, I&rsquo;m sure this question is right up there with the towel drill back in the day but why does it seem like being competitive now and winning in a few years down the line have to mutually exclusive with the current regime? It costs a few million bucks on short deals to sign competent relievers yet this group appears willing to just light the season on fire by saving a few million dollars.
