1. Gisele Bundchen talks (bleeping) football

If you thought the folks in New England were over Gisele Bundchen's profane post-Super Bowl rip job of the Patriots' receivers, think again.
If you thought the folks in New England were over Gisele Bundchen's profane post-Super Bowl rip job of the Patriots' receivers, think again. It's still a hot topic -- maybe the hot topic -- for Patriots Nation, with talk show callers and message board...

3. Terrell Owens says he can still play, cites Ravens as team that could've used him

Terrell Owens didn’t play in the NFL in 2011, and the 38-year-old is currently playing for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. T.O. said Wednesday that there is no question he can still help an NFL team. And he cited the Ravens as a team that proves his point (that sound you hear is the rumor mill beginning to churn).

This is the first installment of a three-part series in which Baltimore Sun staff writer Matt Vensel examines all three phases of the Ravens and how those areas can be improved this offseason. He will tackle the Ravens defense in Friday's newspaper and the special teams unit on Saturday.

7. Indianapolis Colts introduce Pagano as head coach

“Wow. It has been a whirlwind. Words can't describe the emotions that I'm going through right now and the feelings. Coming off probably the most devastating loss that I've ever been a part of in the AFC championship game and to go in that locker room and see those faces and we all know how hard it is to get to that stage and to see the tears. It's an all-time low, and the last thing I ever expected came across my table and now I sit here at an all-time high."

9. Media roundup: What they're saying about the Ravens

11. It's not 'only a game'

.—I'm in mourning. Not the kind that involves grief counseling or a call to the local funeral home. I'm mourning the loss of my football team, the Baltimore Ravens, in gut-wrenching fashion to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.

13. Who says the Ravens didn't win?

The Sun editorial recommending the "stages of grief" from Elizabeth Kubler-Ross to deal with the Raven's recent playoff loss is one way of looking at the situation ("Stages of grief," Jan. 24). One can dwell on the stages of denial, anger, bargaining,...

15. A Ravens fan's stages of grief

The season began with a thrashing of the Steelers and had the promise of ending with the Superbowl in Indianapolis, of all cities, where the Ravens had the prospect of facing off against either the 49ers (coached by our John Harbaugh's little brother) or, as it turned out, the Giants (a team Baltimore has a bit of history with when it comes to NFL championships). The Ravens' aging superstars were offering a reminder of why they're headed for the Hall of Fame, and its young core of talent was blossoming on both sides of the ball. For Baltimore, the stars seemed aligned.

17. Joe Flacco ready to answer his critics during Ravens' playoff run

Joe Flacco says that he doesn't hear much of the criticism. He abstains from reading about the Ravens in the local papers. He mostly ignores watching all the NFL pundits on television and he certainly doesn't listen to talk radio, where his merits as a quarterback are tediously debated on an hourly basis.

19. Bernard Pollard hopes the Giants thrash the Patriots

A day after the Ravens lost to the New England Patriots, 23-20, in the AFC championship game, Ravens strong safety Barnard Pollard revealed to the world -- well, a Houston radio station -- which team he will be pulling for in the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. I’ll give you a hint: It won’t be the team that beat the Ravens on Sunday.

23. Going home not so welcoming for Nakamura

Haruki Nakamura is one of three Ravens players who hail from Ohio. But that doesn’t mean that the free safety, who is a Cleveland native, gets any special treatment when he and the rest of the team visit Cleveland Browns Stadium – as they do Sunday.
