  3. Season Turns Around

    The cold weather with snow and ideal snowmaking conditions made MLK weekend a wonderful time for snowsports fans.  Central New York Greek Peak Mountain Resort ( Picture shown in this story) had all lifts operating and the majority of the trails open.  Monarch Mountain in Colorado has 81% of their terrain open at press time, when I checked their site.  Both Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Hidden Valley Resort of Pennsylvania, as well as Wisp Resort of Maryland and Timberline Resort of West Virginia were making great quality snow out of their snowmaking systems at press time.  Timberline has a Vermont style mountain in trail design in West Virginia.
