5. Welcome Club of Fairfield hosts a New England Style Clambake on June 30

We're always looking for an excuse to eat some baked seafood. Last week Gallery 305K patrons dined to their hearts' content on shellfish to support the Bridgeport Arts Fest. This week, on Saturday, the Welcome Club of Fairfield and Easton is hosting a "New England Style Clambake" at the newly renovated Penfield Pavilion on Fairfield's Penfield Beach. There'll be dancing, a silent auction to benefit Operation Hope and it's B.Y.O.B. so you don't have to spend a ton on booze. Sea House Catering will be providing steamed lobster, herb marinated chicken, rib eye steak, swordfish, stuffed clams, shrimp cocktail, corn on the cob and much more.
