    <strong>UPDATE</strong>: The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that work scheduled to begin on La Grange Road May 1 has been pushed back to the week of May 6. The work is being done in preparation for the La Grange Road widening project and includes median removal and the construction of temporary pavements. The pre-construction phase is expected to be completed by the end of July, and the widening phase is expected to begin by mid- to late-summer.
