  3. U.S. Marshals Capture Federal Drug Fugitive from Franklin County

    U.S. Marshals finally caught up with a federal fugitive from Franklin County this morning. 61 year old Van Dorn Palmer of Waynesboro, had been a fugitive for over two years.  In July 2009, an Indictment was issued by a federal grand jury in the Middle District charging Palmer and Terry Inman with the manufacture, distribution and possession with intent to distribute marijuana from 2007 to 2009 in Dauphin and Franklin Counties.  Palmer was also charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana and the use of a communication facility during the commission of a felony.
