Rahm Emanuel

Rahm Emanuel is the mayor of Chicago. He was elected on Feb. 22, 2011. Emanuel is former White House chief of staff under President Barack Obama. Emanuel represented the 5th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2003 until his resignation in 2009 when he took his position in the Obama Administration. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1981 with a Liberal Arts degree, and received an M.A. in Speech and Communication from Northwestern University in 1985.
