1. Natural gas filling station fuels questions

Q: I noticed a few weeks ago that the gas station at 1825 Route 309 in South Whitehall is now selling natural gas as fuel for cars, at least according to their sign. It's listed at $2.89 (not sure if that's per gallon or per pound). Thought I would update you on this story, which has been developing at this station for over three years.

  3. Opposing traffic in parking-lot designs

Q: There are going to be a lot accidents at the entrance/exit lane for the parking lot at the new Giant market in Trexlertown. People don't realize that incoming traffic from Hamilton Boulevard does not stop. Those trying to exit the shopping center there are going to get hit because there are no signs informing them that oncoming traffic has the right-of-way. There should be a traffic light or a four-way stop there, before someone is seriously hurt or killed.

  5. Snarls abound at Airport Center

Q: Anyone who had the misfortune of patronizing the new Airport Center shopping center over the holidays can attest to the poorly functioning traffic plan. On Airport Center Road coming off Airport Road, the two lanes are marked with ineffectual directional arrows that do little to notify drivers they need to be in the left lane to continue on Airport Center Road, or in the right-turn-only lane to enter the shopping center. Motorists exiting the shopping center at that point likely are in for a long wait and can risk an accident as they proceed into the intersection, hoping the car barreling toward them in the right-turn lane is actually turning right. The entire intersection is confusing and dangerous.
