CHICAGO—
A 41-year-old woman was stabbed in the face on the Near North Side when she got into an argument with a 66-year-old man.The quarrel started late Sunday afternoon at Chicago Ave. and State St., near Holy Name Cathedral.
As tempers heated up, the man pulled a knife and attacked the woman; she's in critical condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Police are expected to charge the man.
Identities of the suspect and victim haven’t been released yet; and there’s no word on how the argument started.
