With Opening Week just around the corner, the National League East Champion Phillies are getting ready to Paint the Town Red! Cheer on Runners at Phillies 5K, 9:00 a.m., starts/ends at Citizens Bank Park
Fans are invited to wear their Phillies red and cheer on the thousands of runners taking part in the first Phillies 5K! The sold-out run, which benefits Phillies Charities, starts and ends at Citizens Bank Park with a loop through FDR Park. Phillies Day at Independence Visitor Center, Noon, 6th & Market Streets, Philadelphia, Pa.
Come join the fun as the Red Phanatic, along with the Phillies Ballgirls, unveil a new Phillies display for tourists visiting the Philadelphia area! The event is free and will be located inside the Independence Visitor Center. Plus, free rally towels for all fans (while supplies last).
MONDAY, MARCH 28
Get the Cy Young Experience at Phillies Blood Drive, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Citizens Bank Park
Join the Phillies and help save lives at this annual blood drive – held in partnership with the American Red Cross – that features plenty of perks for presenting donors! Among them:
- Take photos with the Phillies Cy Young Award display paying tribute to pitchers Roy Halladay, Steve Bedrosian, John Denny and Steve Carlton (four-time winner).
- Pose like a major leaguer as donors stand next to a replica of Halladay’s pitching hand.
- Plus, all fans will receive a 2011 Starting Rotation Commemorative Print.
