One writer of a Grammy-nominated song isn't from L.A. or New York – He's from South Bend.
Jonathan Miller is a pastor at Faith Apostolic Ministries. He wrote the song "I Feel Good" with artist Fred Hammond. It took them just one night – and it was a hit, getting a Grammy nod for "Best Gospel Song."
But Miller wasn't in L.A. this Sunday getting ready for the big night. He was at church preaching this morning and he says he watched the awards ceremony from home tonight.
“The Grammys are tonight and people are wondering why I'm still in South Bend, but I wanted to prove a point to my church that my desire is to help our community, and so I stayed to say ‘Hey guys, this is how much I care about my community. I want you to know that I would put this before my opportunity to spend time at the Grammys,’” Miller said.
Miller did not win.
