HOW TO ENTER:
This contest begins on Monday, October 4, 2010 and ends Monday, October 18, 2010 at 9am. Log on to southflorida.com/Contest, click on the "Universal's Halloween Horror Nights Sweepstakes" link, and register to win by filling out an online registration form with your name, age, address, telephone number, and email address. Only one entry per household shall be allowed. Entries that do not include all required information or multiple entries from the household shall be disqualified. Only entries complying with the entry rules and to the designated web site shall be counted in the Contest. All entries become the property of SFL and will not be returned nor their receipt acknowledged.
WINNER SELECTION:
On Monday, October 18, 2010 SFL will randomly select, from all eligible entries received, Twenty (20) Secondary Prizewinners and one (1) Grand Prizewinner. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
WINNER NOTIFICATION:
SFL will notify the grand prizewinner on October 18, 2010 and secondary winners within 3 days after the drawings via telephone and/or email. Winners forfeit the right to the prizes if they fail to contact SFL by October 19, 2010 for the grand prizewinner and within 3 days of the date of notification for the secondary prizewinners, fail to pick up their prize by October 29, 2010 at SFL (located at 200 E. Las Olas Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, 33301), are deemed ineligible under these rules or fail to sign release forms. If a selected winner forfeits his or her prize, no alternate winner will be selected. Furthermore, SFL has absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of entrant and winner.
PRIZES:
One (1) grand prizewinner will receive the following with and Average Retail Value of $1,410.96 (actual value may vary depending on travel dates and location) and will include and is limited to the following:
• Hotel accommodations, room and tax only, for up to four (4) people in a maximum of one (1) room at a hotel selected by UO for one (1) night on October 29, 2010. Hotel accommodations do not include meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip.
• One (1) Halloween Horror Nights 2010 RIP Tour (including admission tickets) for a maximum of four (4) people on October 29, 2010.
• Four (4) 1-Day/2-Park Universal Orlando tickets valid for admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks through November 30, 2010.
• One (1) Universal Orlando general parking pass valid through November 30, 2010.
Twenty (20) secondary prizewinners will receive the following with an ARV of $379.98:
• Two (2) Halloween Horror Nights 2010 event tickets valid through October 31, 2010.
• Two (2) 1-Day/2-Park Universal Orlando tickets valid for admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks through November 30, 2010.
• One (1) Universal Orlando general parking pass valid through November 30, 2010.
NOTE: The Grand Prize must be awarded within the Program Dates and winner must travel on October 29, 2010, or winner will forfeit Grand Prize. Winner must be 18 years of age or older. If winner is between 18 & 21 years of age, he/she must be accompanied by an adult of at least 21 years of age in order to check-in to the hotel. Minor traveling companion(s) (if any) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
