Sarah: Did you grow up here in Brookfield, Connecticut?
Nick: I grew up in this house, I left this house, came back a lot, and I'm back in the basement at 27 years old.
Sarah: You have a younger sister, right?
Nick: My sister is younger than me by age, but that's the only sense she's younger than me.I am three years older, but she's now a doctor. She's getting married in less than two weeks.She is out of bed at 7 a.m. everyday. We're so opposite!
Sarah: You're really close to your mom as well, right?
Nick: She's my rock, she's my best friend, she's in the other room on the computer, listening.
Sarah: What was going on in your life before Idol ?
Nick: I just have been trying forever to get on Broadway, or to get into Saturday Night Live, get into comedy shows.And I kind of quit at 22, worked at a cable company, Charter Cable Company in Newtown.
Sarah: How did you decide to audition for American Idol?
