1) Lox, Stock and Bagels
Now marking 20 years in business, owner Nancy Bryant has seen "faithful bagel eaters grow up from toddlers to college students." At least three generations of customers enjoy spending their dough on Lox Stock's baked-on-the-premises noshes. In addition to classics, the Bryants offer “creative flavors like tomato basil, honey eight-grain, French toast, blueberry, and spinach." Tom Bryant came up with the bakery's signature cheddar cheese bagel: "cheese in the dough as well as a slice baked on top." The menu includes equally varied cream cheese flavors, sandwiches (bagel, roll or wrap), brownies and cookies.
