You and your family are invited to learn about lead poisoning and ways to prevent it at the 12th Annual Lead Awareness Picnic this Sunday, June 10, at Lighthouse Point Park's Carousel Pavilion in New Haven. It's hosted by the New Haven Health Department's Bureau of Environmental Health and the Yale Lead and Healthy Homes Program. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
