The case of a boat crash that killed two people and re-wrote Indiana law is heading to the courtroom.
The trial for 21-year-old Winston Wood is scheduled to start June 4.
Police said he was driving a ski boat that crashed into a fishing boat on Monroe Lake back in 2010. Susan Collier and her 8-year-old grandson, Gage Pruett, were killed.
A blood test showed Winston had marijuana in his system.
The victims' family got state lawmakers to change Indiana law so that people with drugs in their system can now be charged with operating a boat while intoxicated.
