Guitarist Peter Frampton says he has a full plate of activity lined for 2013, starting with “writing brand new material and next April I’m playing three, hopefully four shows with the Cincinnati Ballet,” he said in a recent radio interview. Of backing ballet dancers, the rocker said, “[It’s] kind of scary, but very exciting.” Frampton also let slip that he’s been entertaining thoughts about his old band Humble Pie, specifically, releasing band material next year. He said the first project consists of remixing all four shows from which material for Rockin’ the Fillmore was culled, “and also in the works is a complete box set of Humble Pie, so that’s going to be interesting.” As if that wasn’t enough, look for a new Frampton tour in 2013 as well.
