After A Couple Icy Weeks, Fresh Snow Falls

After a couple icy, snowless weeks, Southcentral Alaska is finally getting a significant amount of snow. At about 5 p.m. Saturday, parts of Anchorage had as much as 9.4 inches, and Girdwood was up to 12 inches. Here are some pictures from Channel 2 viewers.

A heavy storm system that hit Nov. 9 left large portions of Kotlik without sewage or water, and the community was hit again by another storm that flooded the town Nov. 13.
