What a fantastic stretch of warm weather we've enjoyed!
Upper 40s and 50s have endured for the last week in Anchorage and the Valley. In fact, only two days in the month of April have passed with highs below seasonal averages.
Our mild weather continues today. Expect more sunshine than we've seen the last couple days into the afternoon in PWS and the Cook Inlet region. Highs will be in the 40s to low 50s.
Mostly cloudy to cloudy skies and showers are likely in the Panhandle. Rain will increase from south to north over SE late today through tomorrow as a stronger low approaches.
Clouds have spread over the west coast. However, mostly dry weather is expected. Highs will stay in the 20s and 30s toward the coast, but 40s and 50s will return to the inland areas this afternoon.
The Interior has been baking with 50s and 60s the last few days. Today will be a touch cooler---highs should stay in the 50s today with partly to mostly cloudy conditions.
