Here's the latest on the Western Alaska storm system:

Coastal Flood Warnings remain in effect for nearly all of the West Coast, from the Yukon Delta to Cape Lisburne.  The warnings are in effect into the afternoon and evening hours.  The most susceptible times for flooding and erosion will be at high tide.  Sea levels may still raise at high tides from 3 to 8 feet, posing localized risks for continued battering of immediate coastlines.  Warnings should be allowed to expire tonight.

Wind are gusting under 50 mph this morning.  Wind speeds will continue to drop today as the low moves slowly north and weakens.  The highest gusts have been on St. Lawrence Island.

Snow from 1 to 3 inches is still possible throughout northwest Alaska with snow ending further south.  No blizzard conditions are expected.

Southcentral will see snow diminish this afternoon.  Partly cloudy tonight and cold.  An upper ridge will briefly build in tonight and tomorrow before clouds ahead of a system in the Aleutians will bring an increase in clouds by afternoon and a chance of more accumulating snow Friday night and Saturday.

Rain and snow in the Panhandle today and Interior snow up to 3 inches are likely today.
