A surface low is embedded within an upper level trough over the Bering Sea. At the base of the trough is a strong jet stream. Moisture is wrapping around the low into Kodiak, Bristol Bay and the Alaska Peninsula. Snow has been reported in Cold Bay and the Pribilofs. Snow may mix in with rain this morning around Dillingham and King Salmon.
Clouds are found along the West Coast. St. Lawrence will get in on a few snow showers but other areas of the west and northwest will be dry. Expect temps into the 30s and low 40s.
Southcentral and Interior Alaska will be sunny thanks to a shortwave ridging. The exception is PWS where low clouds and fog with persist most of the morning. Clouds will increase this afternoon over Southcentral associated with the Aleutian low but little if any precipitation is anticipated.
Southeast will keep with mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers.
Highs in Anchorage will be near 50 to the low 50s with low 50s expected in the Mat-Su.
