5.7 magnitude quake rattles Northwest Alaska

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - A 5.7 magnitude quake rattled Northwest Alaska Thursday afternoon. The Alaska Earthquake Center shows a 5.7 earthquake struck 30 miles South of Shungnak, which is northwest of Huslia, at 4:58 p.m.

The Earthquake Center map of earthquakes shows a cluster of 1-to-2 magnitude earthquakes in the area since Oct. 1.
