Anchorage to see a sprinkle or two on Friday, with temps near 40 degrees

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Storms bring 50 mph wind gusts to higher elevations.

We warm up to 40 degrees on Friday in Anchorage, with a 50 percent chance of early snow and late rain along with 60 mph gusts today and tonight after midnight, as we drop down to 32 degrees tonight while under mostly cloudy skies.

Then with a high of 41 degrees we will be cloudy tomorrow with 60 mph wind gusts once again along Turnagain Arm.

Looking ahead, we drop down to 28 degrees Thursday night before we warm up to 40 degrees on Saturday while under cloudy skies.
