ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Alaska Dispatch News says it has rolled out its final printed edition from the Northway Drive facility in Anchorage.
In an article posted Saturday, the newspaper stated it will start printing in the Mat-Su Valley with Wick Communications.
The move comes just weeks after it announced a “restructuring” which involved a number of employee layoffs.
After filing for bankruptcy on September 11, a federal court judge approved a sale effectively saving the paper from total shutdown.
The paper was bought by the Binkley family for $1 million dollars.
