The Anchorage Police Department is warning drivers to avoid a section of the Seward Highway because of some traffic backup.

APD says a crash near milepost 113.5 on the highway is causing problems just south of Anchorage, near McHugh Creek.

In a press release, APD said Monday morning the crash involved a box truck that lost part of it's load and that no one was hurt.

The accident Monday morning comes after Sunday night

If you are coming back to Anchorage from a weekend fishing trip, your travel time may be a bit longer than expected.
