ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - A Fairbanks man was arrested earlier this week on charges of attempted murder and assault for allegedly trying to run down a victim in a parking lot.

Christopher Albin, 53, was arraigned on those charges Tuesday, after a police report from the Fairbanks Police Department alleges he committed various offenses on Monday morning.

In the report, FPD said Albin showed up to an unnamed victim's place of employment, at American Tire and Auto on South Cushman Street in Fairbanks. The incident happened just after 10 a.m. on October 30.

At that time, Albin reportedly sped around the parking lot, doing damage, and allegedly trying to kill the victim.

"The suspect struck the victim’s vehicle, the building, and a business vehicle while yelling, 'I’m going to kill you,' then left the scene," an FPD report shows. "Officers were able to locate the suspect in the Lakeview Terrace area at approximately 1:30 pm."

Albin was arraigned in District Court on Tuesday. During his arraignment it was revealed Albin will be facing another assault charge in a separate case where he committed a similar crime, according to KTVF in Fairbanks. The combined total of bail in each case was set at $60,000.
