ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Alaskans of all faiths showed their solidarity and support for the 11 lives lost during last weekend's mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
On Saturday, the Alaska Jewish Campus held a solidarity event to "stand together" with the people of Pittsburgh.
Rabbi Yosef Greenberg said that the event was a time for reflection, prayer and solidarity.
"This might be an opportunity to soul search, should all reflect," Greenberg said. "Is there something missing on what makes America one?"
Attendee Nikole DeSanto said she went to the event to show support for the Jewish community.
"It was focused on love and acceptance and solidarity," she said, "to come together at times of horror and at times of terrorism."
